This Criminally Underrated HIMYM Character Is the Real Hottie of the Show
Robin and Lily are both stunning, but people seem to think that another woman deserves more fan love and attention.
How I Met Your Mother has had a lot of beautiful actresses guest star over the years, that's for sure. The women who played Mary the Paralegal, Victoria, Quinn, Blah-Blah, Trudy, Vicky…
Still, fans believe that Charlene Amoia is the fairest of them all.
If that name doesn't ring any bells, perhaps this one will – Wendy. Charlene famously portrayed the innocent and kind waitress at MacLaren's for years.
She actually appeared in a total of 17 episodes, which is crazy because it feels like she was in a lot more of them, right?
We don't want to kill the bar, but Wendy is absolutely gorgeous. She was once Barney's unfortunate fling (and was one of the very few women who took their "breakup" in stride and was genuinely mature about it).
She was there for all the gang's big moments at the bar. She even suffered at the hands of Marshall once or twice.
Wendy deserved a happy ending more than anyone else on the show. After what she has put up with all these years, it is just fitting.
In the season 6 episode, Garbage Island, Wendy bonds with Marshall's ex-coworker, Meeker, over their shared hatred of Marshall, and it is revealed that they eventually fall in love, get married, and have three kids.
The scene where Ted runs into them at the airport gave us chills!
Unfortunately, that episode is the last time we see Wendy on the show. Too bad because it would've been great to get another glimpse or two of her in the finale (at least).
By the way, Charlene is now 40 and still a hottie. After How I Met Your Mother, she continued to appear in small roles on many hit shows.
For instance, you could've spotted her in Glee, Shameless, iCarly, General Hospital, Grey's Anatomy, and many others. Charlene has certainly been busy!
If she gets invited for a cameo in How I Met Your Father, we would totally lose it. Come on, big guy, make it happen…
