On April 3, 2022, the crime saga came to an end after nine years of success at BBC. 'Peaky Blinders' became a cultural phenomenon and made millions of people root for Cillian Murphy's lovable crook Tommy Shelby.

'Peaky Blinders' centered on a gangster family, running a crime business in post-WWI Birmingham. A gritty crime epic quickly became a fan-favorite thanks to clever scripting, great acting performances and pretty accurate depiction of 1920-1930's England.

The series, created by Steven Knight, was one of defining shows of the past decade, so its end after the sixth season was met with sadness. Thousands of fans went to social media expressing their love and gratitude for the cast and crew of long-running TV show.

Looks like Knight's take on how to end the story was met with a huge approval from fans, who thank series creator for the emotional end of their favorite crime drama.

But don't prepare your handkerchiefs just yet! Steven Knight recently disclosed his plans to bring 'Peaky Blinders' back for a possible movie. Fingers crossed!
