Despite its simple premise - a tight-knit family of crooks and racers who drive fast cars and commit international heists, saving the world from time to time - the "Fast & Furious" franchise is doing better than ever more than 20 years after its inception, as fans still crave high-stakes racing and great CGI as they did back in the early 2000s.

Of course, the Vin Diesel-led franchise has spawned a myriad of imitators eager to cash in on the success of the beloved action saga.
