Disney's biggest event is finally upon us, and the revealed lineup of presentations promises some pretty major announcements this September.

The D23 expo is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated events of the year, as the largest Hollywood studio celebrates its 100th anniversary. Disney is sure to prepare something special for the big day, and with Disney owning many studios, including Marvel, Lucasfilm and Pixar, fans are sure to be pleased with the panels, Q&As and trailer screenings.

Here're 4 biggest presentations worth waiting for at D23 2022:

Disney Live Action, Pixar Animation Studios, and Walt Disney Animation Studios (September 9, 3:30 PM PDT)

Disney got its start by producing and releasing animated films, so it's only natural that the whole event will start with cartoons presentation. Grand projects with Mickey Mouse and his friends are expected, as well as the announcement of some future Pixar masterpieces. In addition to everything animated, there will undoubtedly be some big live-action films announced – even though Marvel and 'Star Wars ' are the main franchises in the current state of Disney, the original films and remakes also contribute a lot to the company's growth, and it will be very curious to see what the studio has in store for us next year.

Marvel Studios Presentation (September 10, 10:00 AM PDT)

Kevin Feige has managed to reinvent the superhero formula thanks to his prolific work at Disney +, with series such as 'Moon Knight ' and 'Ms. Marvel' reigning supreme this year. But feature films aren't a thing of the past just yet: the MCU panel is expected to present and showcase some potentially huge hits, including 'Blade', 'Fantastic Four ' and even possibly 'Avengers 4'. Fingers crossed! In addition, release dates, trailers, cast and crew reveals, and the upcoming Phase 4 lineup will be announced during the presentation.

Lucasfilm Presentation (September 10, 10:00 AM PDT)

'Star Wars' has moved from big screens to home ones in the last couple of years, but it looks like the upcoming D23 show will change that – the highly anticipated films directed by Taika Waititi and Patty Jenkins are expected to be finally revealed this September. In addition to these, Disney+ will continue to showcase such series as 'Ahsoka ', 'The Acolyte ' and 'Skeleton Crew'. It's May 4th all over again!

Disney Branded Television (September 10, 3:30 PM PDT)

Disney + will undoubtedly be a talk of the town this September, unveiling its upcoming lineup of original projects at D23. Some titles have already been confirmed, and they're huge: 'High School Musical', 'The Descendants' and 'The Owl House,' all of which will receive significant updates. But that's not all – 'National Treasure' and 'American Born Chinese' will also be featured at the event. And who knows what other surprises the Disney streaming service has in store for us...

The D23 expo will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center from September 9 to 11.
