5 Upcoming MCU Projects That Could Give Wanda Her Happy Ending
They did her so dirty in the last MCU projects.
After losing her brother in Avengers: Age of Ultron, the love of her life in Avengers: Infinity War, and her potential family with two kids in WandaVision, Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, goes all in in the new Doctor Strange movie and ends up being dead. Or, is she really?
The rumors say that Elizabeth Olsen renewed her contract with Marvel for the next 7 years, so maybe Wanda's happy ending is yet to come.
Here are MCU upcoming projects that might give us what we want.
1. Agatha: Coven of Chaos
After Agatha appeared as an antagonist in the WandaVision series, it became clear that her story deserved to be told in a solo project.
Who knows, maybe with everything else Agatha and her coven will use witchcraft and magic to bring Wanda back for revenge, or it will help them realize that Wanda was never really gone.
2. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty Or Secret Wars
The same Kang the Conqueror we saw in the Loki series and the one who can travel through time and dimensions. This movie is a great base to bring back the Scarlet Witch, whether she is dead or alive.
We may even see more of her multiverse versions with different storylines and maybe even find her living in one of them. Even a little glance at her happy life in one of the multi-universes would be enough to warm our hearts.
3. Blade
A half-immortal skilled martial artist with superhuman abilities who assassinates vampires all over the world has all the potential to meet a dark queen or even bring her back with all the connections to powerful magicians that he has.
It would be interesting to see our girl joining a group of vampire slaughters, fighting evil, and wearing a black leather jacket, wouldn't it?
4. Doctor Strange Sequel (Unannounced)
While the movie is based only on speculation, it's one of the most logical Wanda's comebacks.
After "dying" in the collapsing Mount Wudagore in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, her revival would make sense as she should be the one to help Stephen and Clea clean up the mess she created in the multiverse.
5. Scarlet Witch Solo Project (Unannounced)
Our favorite one so far. Since Wanda didn't receive a solo project in MCU Phase 4, there are still some dates with an empty slot in Phases 5 and 6.
Besides, why would Elizabeth Olsen need 7 more years in the Marvel Universe if she doesn't get her solo movie?
It's definitely going to happen and while the other projects may revive/rehabilitate Wanda, this one should give her a deserved and worthy ending.
