As Diesel had conflicted with both Momoa and Johnson, the two actors settled on making the next entry of Fast & Furious without the franchise's Godfather at all.

The absolute majority of people know Vin Diesel as the man in charge of the Fast & Furious franchise and its lead actor.

Diesel's Dominic Toretto is both a legend and a meme at this point in time, but no one can imagine a Fast & Furious movie without him (even though such installments totally exist and even performed well).

For Vin Diesel, Fast & Furious is his proudest creation, the child he cherishes and tries to improve in any way he knows of.

While this mainly involves making the events of each following entry even more dramatic and absurd than the previous one and adding more bizarre scenes and explosions, the franchise is still very popular.

But Vin Diesel's admittedly not the easiest person to work with. At least two of his Fast & Furious co-stars could confirm it: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jason Momoa, to be precise.

The conflict between Diesel and The Rock started years back with Johnson blaming his colleague for unprofessionalism.

It quickly evolved as the two started a real feud, and sources confirmed that the actors had clashed on the set. Settling things down peacefully didn't work, and The Rock claimed he'd never return to Fast & Furious.

Until recently, Dwayne Johnson has kept his word, but now things are getting even more interesting.

Recently, sources shared that Vin Diesel tried to throw Jason Momoa under the bus for Fast X's terrible ratings and reviews and blamed the Aquaman actor for "scene-stealing" and "overacting."

While Momoa's performance was largely called the only silver lining in the entirety of Fast X, these accusations held no water.

Reportedly, Jason Momoa heard about Vin Diesel's accusations toward him — and it's pretty obvious how he could've reacted to them.

But now, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared news about the franchise, and it seems like he and Momoa are leaving Vin Diesel hanging for the next movie.

In his Twitter, Johnson announced that he's making a return for what he called "Fast X: Part II," and his Luke Hobbs is going to be the next man to try to take down Jason Momoa's Dante Reyes.

Admittedly, the next installment of F&F won't feature Vin Diesel at all, and it's going to be a one-on-one between The Rock and Momoa.

While in the same tweet, The Rock claimed that he and Diesel had "put all the past behind" them a year ago, it doesn't really feel like that, does it?

After all, it's the first Fast & Furious installment with Dwayne Johnson in years, and instead of Vin Diesel, it features Jason Momoa — another actor that recently had a conflict with the franchise's Godfather.
