After three years of silence regarding the dystopian hit Netflix returns to 'Black Mirror', but it looks like it might just be too late.

Now that Netflix is dealing with some sort of a downfall, with the number of subscribers reducing and the need to lay off some of the staff appearing, fans are really unsure about whether the decision to greenlight season 6 of 'Black Mirror ' will help the streaming service.

The news of 'Black Mirror' returning was reported by Variety, with the outlet adding that it is understood that season 6 will have more episodes than the previous one. Moreover, it is going to be "more cinematic in scope, with each installment being treated as an individual film."

But even that does not sound persuasive enough to fans.

However, there is a silver lining… if you are too tired of the jokes about how similar real life is to the Netflix hit show.

Ah, nevermind.

Still, some people have hopes for the upcoming season, especially since many fans were not really satisfied with season 5.

Season 5 of 'Black Mirror' premiered in 2019. After that, the show's creator Charlie Brooker and producer Annabel Jones created their own production company, Broke and Bones, after leaving House of Tomorrow – the firm that was initially behind 'Black Mirror'. The new season will be produced by the new company rather than House of Tomorrow, although the latter still retains ownership of 'Black Mirror'.
