Chrissy, this is for you.

Eddie Munson's explosive guitar solo in the 'Stranger Things 4' finale was perhaps the most discussed scene of Volume 2. Not only was it the most metal thing ever, but also it brought Metallica's 'Master of Puppets' back to its former glory, putting the song back on rock charts and introducing it to the new generation of fans.

But was it really Joseph Quinn himself rocking that guitar, or is it just the magic of cinema? Well, it turns out that the actor did not have to pretend that he can play the instrument because he is conveniently into playing guitar since he was 7; Joseph Quinn really did played 'Master of Puppets' himself in 'Stranger Things' season 4 finale.

However, the actor admitted he was not a "virtuoso", revealing to Radio Times that he only played one part of the song himself, but the solo part was handled by a "black belt metal guitarist".

Shortly after Quinn learned that it would be 'Master of Puppets' that his character was going to play, he "went and bought a guitar and then practiced manically for months until [they] ended up shooting the thing."

In case you don't believe it, 'Stranger Things' writers have shared a video proof on Twitter that has already gone viral.

Not enough? Here is another one.

Naturally, Quinn's effort could not go unappreciated: fans were left in awe by the final scene where Eddie shredded 'Master of Puppets' on the hellish roof stage in the Upside Down, dedicating his bombshell performance to Chrissy.

If this is not the most metal thing ever, we don't know what is.
