Game of Thrones fans were far from the only ones disappointed by the show’s finale: Emilia Clarke, for one, still holds a grudge against Kit Harrington for killing her character!

One of the world’s largest and most popular series ever, Game of Thrones, ended five whole years ago, but fans are still frustrated over the finale of the show.

After seven seasons of fantastic storylines and great character development, the ending managed to mess up everything in a matter of just a few episodes it spanned.

In the fan community of Game of Thrones, this absolute bust of a finale is still arguably the most discussed topic. There are one too many points of frustration, but admittedly, Daenerys Targaryen enjoyers are the one group of fans that has never fully healed from the trauma of Season 8 and probably never will, at this point.

According to many fans, Dany’s story arc and character development were the most butchered by the finale of Game of Thrones, and her sudden insanity, though it had quite a build-up, was too out-of-nowhere and too misplaced. The fact that she then got killed by her nephew and lover, Jon Snow, really didn’t help the fans’ sanity.

Apparently, even Emilia Clarke herself still can’t get over her character’s sad and stupid fate — but while fans blame the writers for making Daenerys go nuts, the actress jokingly accuses her co-star Kit Harrington and his Jon Snow of killing her.

“Yeah, I felt for [Daenerys]. I really felt for her. And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn’t have to deal with [the consequences of killing her]? He got away with murder — literally,” Emilia Clarke told The Times.

Just as Clarke feels for Daenerys, we feel for the actress herself. Among the many others whose characters were utterly butchered in the finale of Game of Thrones, she stands out quite a lot.

Quite a few iconic characters had died a stupid death on the show before Daenerys, but it was the Mother of Dragons whose stupid death was thanks to the showrunners, not the lore reasons.

And Jon Snow did, in fact, get away with murder — but at least, he remained himself until the very end. We can totally see him making such a decision to save Westeros…and still, it was quite rude of Kit Harrington to do his wholesome co-star dirty like that!
