Fans Demand 'Our Flag Means Death' Renewal: "The Fandom Deserves It"
The first season of 'Our Flag Means Death', HBO Max's biggest hit of the year, has barely ended, but fans are already craving for more.
Light hearted story about a pirate ship's rag-tag queer crew, travelling the wild seas and experiencing love and heartbreak, quickly became the next big hit for comic mastermind Taika Waititi. Stacked cast, including Rhys Darby, Ewen Bremmer, Rory Kinnear and Waititi himself, rounds up the equation for the perfectly comforting series.
The first season consisted of 10 episodes, and it seems fans still didn't have enough. Pleas for the second season are all over the internet, with related hashtags like #RenewOurFlagMeansDeath taking Twitter by storm.
Some fans are even creating fan arts, depicting their favorite characters in various joyous circumstances.
Of course, it's too early to tell, but it looks like HBO has no choice but to renew 'Our Flags Mean Death' for the second season. Feels like the amount of adoration coming from all the corners of the internet is enough to make Waititi rename his creation as 'Our Flag Means Love'.
