Obi-Wan Kenobi has received quite a controversial response from the Star Wars fans, so Marvel fans are not concerned.

Marvel's upcoming TV show Armor Wars has added several new writers, including Rayna McClendon from Obi-Wan Kenobi, according to the Writer's Guild of America.

However, such a development does not seem to be sitting well with Marvel fans. After Obi-Wan Kenobi's questionable reception by Star Wars fans, Marvel stans are afraid that new talent might not be good for 'Armor Wars'.

Many people have decried the decision to add McClendon to the show. In case of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the show was particularly grilled for "lazy" writing, with some fans believing that the series failed to properly develop Obi-Wan and his conflict with Anakin Skywalker.

However, others argue that McClendon's experience with Obi-Wan Kenobi arcs might be just perfect for Armor Wars — the show that is going to focus on War Machine.

"I think that actually says a lot, because in Obi-Wan Kenobi, the Jedi master goes through a strong sense of guilt for what happened to anakin. Rhodey is likely to feel guilty about Tony's death, which he will face in his series." - @Lorenzo74209291

Despite the controversy around the new hire, many people are excited for Armor Wars, especially in the wake of the recent news that Rhodey is going to receive several suits of armor in the show. This, however, also makes it potentially difficult to produce in the way that would satisfy fans, as a big number of Iron Man suits flying around would require a lot of CGI — something that has been a stumbling block for a lot of Marvel projects recently.

The premiere date for Armor Wars remains unclear as of now, with observers forecasting that it might secure a release at some point in 2025, given the time needed to finesse the visuals.
