Who knew he could be so much more than just a complicated mister Grey?

There are some roles that are just glued to the actors no matter how hard they try to stop being associated with them. One of such we think is Jamie Dornan’s Christian Grey character from the infamous 50 Shades of Grey franchise.

However, it seems that there is so much more to the actor's talent than just portraying a troubled sex addict. Now, fans of Dornan don't quite understand why he isn't getting more praise for his role in an amazing thriller series called The Tourist.

Season 1 premiered in the UK on January 1 in 2022 on BBC, and later in March was released on HBO Max in the US. The series centers on Dornan's character, Elliot, who wakes up in the Australian countryside hospital with no memory at all. It is clear that he got amnesia due to a car crash.

Now he has to use the little clues to figure out who he is, but he better hurry because his past is just around the corner to catch him again. It's an amazingly crafted drama thriller with a good dash of dark humor that just keeps you glued to the screen waiting for the next twist in the story.

Despite the fact that it has a 96% Rotten Tomatoes score and was the most watched show in the UK after its release. Those who know how good the show is wonder why so few people talk about it.

“HOW is this show not getting more attention? I stumbled upon it and took a chance. It’s easily the best show that I’ve seen in a long time! A thriller/crime/drama with tons of quirky and dark humor. It’s like nothing I’ve seen and I highly recommend it!” Redditor OSugarPeas said.

The second season of the series was released in 2024, but as Max dropped it, it moved to Netflix. So don’t miss the chance to stream it on the platform!
