So many people need to be saved, but will they all survive in the end?

Fans of The Handmaid's Tale around the world are eagerly waiting for season 6 to be released. But until that happens, there's plenty of time to binge-watch the previous seasons and try to guess what will happen next.

There are a lot of fan theories about what the final season will be about, but one of the most popular ones, of course, is somehow related to Hannah's rescue storyline. Since the first season, June has been all about making that happen, but every time something has made her step away.

Fans have gone far in their theories, suggesting that it will be Nick who saves June's daughter in the end. Although they have been separated for a long time, it seems only natural if he is the one who made her dream come true.

Nick's season 5 arc has led to the assumption that in the end, he will do whatever it takes to save Hannah, even if it costs him his own life.

So the fair question is, will he really die? Many fans think that Nick's death is something inevitable. Even if it's not while saving Hannah, then in some other traumatic scenario.

“My call is that Nick dies defending or saving June and Nichole and probably also Luke. The foreshadowing of 'she has people who care for her, I'm nothing' made me realize he has to die really. Any scenario where June and Nick end up together with Luke still around feels wrong. Especially if they rescue Hannah,” Redditor Lower-Travel-6117 said.

Perhaps the only thing that might save his life is for him to put everything about June behind him and continue his journey in Gilead as a Commander and stop trying to tear it down from the inside.

Although there are almost no fans who could believe that, because Nick has proven by far that his love for June is too strong, so such a scenario wouldn't fit his character's story.
