There’s been too much revealed for all of it to be true.

Summary:

  • House of The Dragon is an HBO fantasy TV show, a prequel to Game of Thrones.
  • It was released in 2022 and renewed for the second season on the second day of airing.
  • Now that the second season is in production, there are many leaks and rumors, but only a few actually make sense.

There's nothing better for the bored mind of a fan waiting for the next season of their favorite show than a fair share of leaks and spoilers, even if most of them end up being completely wrong.

While this is a common situation when some plot twists, cast additions, and little details about the sets are leaked to the public via crew members and supporting cast, most of the time the detailed rumors are nothing more than the creation of someone's very active imagination.

However, it's always fun to indulge in such content, just to see what turns out to be true in the end. Most of the leaks and spoilers for House of The Dragon season 2 are so wild that the fandom doesn't even dare to think about them being true. However, there are a few that walk the line between wishful thinking and real possibility.

These are the ones that fans on the r/HouseOfTheDragon subreddit would most like to see come true.

There is nothing viewers would like more than to see another talented actor sharing some scenes with two of the fan-favorite characters, Daemon and Aemond Targaryen. Luckily, this casting can also be considered as confirmed, as it was reported by Deadline earlier this year after it was first leaked as a rumor.

While some believe that it would be much wiser to introduce Alicent's son, Prince Daeron Targaryen, first, instead of bringing original children characters into the mix, others believe that it's possible for the show to do both.

The only thing they hope for is that the show doesn't have these children just to brutally murder them, as the second season promises enough violence already.

Speaking of violence, a lot of book fans are excited to see Daemon plan the events of Blood and Cheese himself. It would make a lot more sense for the TV format than just showing his letter to Rhaenyra, and it would also give us a little more time with Matt Smith, who is known for stealing every scene he's in.

Season 2 of House of The Dragon is eyeing a possible premiere in the summer of 2024. Keep an eye out for news and behind-the-scenes updates on the show.
