Another Cillian Murphy fan spotted in Hollywood.

"Phenomenal!" That was all Matt Damon could say when describing his co-star Cillian Murphy and his performance in Nolan's new film, Oppenheimer.

After seeing the movie, Damon was really impressed by his co-star's talent. Murphy's performance appeared to be so compelling Damon admitted that the three hours of the movie just flew by.

"It's three hours. It's fantastic. Cillian is phenomenal. He's everything you would want him to be. I think it's almost three hours. It goes so fast, it's great," Damon told Variety on the red carpet for his film Air.

So what do we have on Christopher Nolan 's new movie? The main star of Oppenheimer is, of course, his beloved Irish actor Cillian Murphy.

He portrays the theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, director of the Manhattan Project who is globally known as the "father of the atomic bomb."

Looks like fans are no less excited to see Murphy as the legendary physicist than Damon.

"I'm so happy for Cillian. He's such a tremendous talent and he finally gets to lead a Nolan film. I have to imagine he's going to absolutely kill this," Reddit user coverlesss said.

Murphy is not the only A-list star in the cast of Nolan's new upcoming masterpiece. He is joined by Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, and Rami Malek.

Oppenheimer is a lot of "firsts" for Nolan. It's the first time he makes a movie with Universal Pictures; before that, the iconic director used to work with Warner Bros.

Besides, the biopic lasts for three hours; a new record for Nolan when it comes to running time.

The previous record belongs to Interstellar, which lasts 2 hours and 49 minutes.

Oppenheimer will hit theaters on July 21, 2023.
