Sam Raimi Wants To Make A Batman Movie
In a recent Empire Magazine interview Sam Raimi mentioned that he would love to direct a film about Batman. In fact, the filmmaker has a list of superheroes that he wants to bring to screen.
Raimi created the original Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire. His upcoming film ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ is also focused on a bunch of Marvel superheroes.
Sam Raimi revealed that he doesn’t mind creating a movie about DC character, Batman.
‘I’ve always loved Batman. If I ever saw the Bat-signal up in the air, I’d come running’, explained the director.
Raimi also mentioned that he has a list of favorite superheroes. For example, the filmmaker is keen on the Shadow and would love to direct a film about him, too.
And It seems that Spidey is still very special to Raimi. The director said that Spider-Man would be ahead of Doctor Strange in his list of superheroes.
Recently ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ brought back some characters from the original Raimi’s trilogy. The filmmaker was very touched to see old friends on screen again. ‘I was honored’, he said.
