'She-Hulk' Tony Stark Easter Egg Has Fans Sobbing

You just don't say goodbye to one of the most iconic MCU characters like that.

Warning: the following article contains spoilers for 'She-Hulk' episode 1

'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' introduces an all-new character into the MCU but also brings back one of the original Avengers: Bruce Banner, or Hulk, or Professor Hulk now. And he also brought the spirit of the old-school gang with him.

The first episode of 'She-Hulk' had several heart-wrenching Easter eggs that revealed just how much Bruce appears to miss the Avengers – and particularly Tony Stark, with whom he shared a passion to combine scientific knowledge and superhuman abilities for the sake of humanity's protection.

Now that Stark is gone after his sacrifice in the Infinity Saga, it's even more painful for fans to see Easter eggs like the initials "T.S." carved right near "B.B.". Even though it's almost been a whole MCU phase since Stark's death, such nods still drive fans to tears.

Another heartbreaking Tony Stark reference is a badly damaged Iron Man-style helmet that Bruce appears to keep in his lab – either for some kind of scientific research or out of pure sentiment. According to fans, it's clearly about Banner unable to let go of his past.

The first episode of 'She-Hulk" was quite generous in terms of references to the original Avengers. For instance, its post-credit scene is dedicated entirely to Steve Rogers, albeit in a pretty unexpected manner.

Both iconic characters have bid adieu to fans in 'Avengers: Endgame', with Tony sacrificing himself to defeat Thanos and Captain America effectively retiring after returning all the Infinity stones to their places in the timeline.

'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' is currently streaming on Disney Plus, with new episodes to arrive every Thursday.
