The Walking Dead Daryl's spinoff seems to feature an unexpected guest star.

As you may know, The Walking Dead Universe is expected to be expanded with a few upcoming spinoffs.

There are three new shows that have been confirmed to continue the story after the original series ended. We've got The Walking Dead: Dead City, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, and Rick & Michonne.

It got fans really excited, and the show about Daryl is certainly one of the most anticipated among those, as it will follow Daryl Dixon, who will somehow find himself in France, hoping to find a way home.

Norman Reedus will reprise his role as the beloved character.

It was also announced that Clémence Poésy and Adam Nagaitis will join the cast, portraying new characters. And now an unexpected rumor suggests that another French performer will join Daryl on the show.

According to some photos the drag queen posted on Instagram stories, Paloma, also known as Hugo Bardin, will take part in the show as a character named Coco.

Paloma also posted a picture with Norman Reedus, hinting at their involvement in the project.

Hugo Bardin is a multi-talented artist hailing from France recognized as a renowned drag performer, singer, director, and screenwriter. Paloma gained widespread fame for winning the first season of Drag Race France.

The news isn't confirmed yet, so it's unclear who Coco is. It is clearly not Coco Espinosa, Rosita's daughter, as she was about 2 years old when we last saw her, so it wouldn't make any sense.

Probably, Coco will be a French performer within the show whom Daryl will meet along the way. So basically, we may assume that the drag queen will play... a drag queen.

Fans shared their opinion on Reddit, and many of them are struggling to come up with a suitable storyline for such a character.

However, let's not forget that the show will unfold in France, and it may offer a completely new experience and a breath of fresh air for the universe.

The filming of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon began in October 2022, and the show is expected to premiere at some point in 2023.
