Time to binge some classics.

When a movie is called the best of all times, it clearly puts a lot of responsibility on it, as every viewer will have to end up with the same conclusion after watching it. Well, it’s good that in the case with this legendary movie there’s no doubt someone is not going to like it.

The movie we are talking about is the legal drama created in 1957 by Sidney Lumet named 12 Angry Men and we are sure you have heard about it at least once.

12 Angry Men is a courtroom drama that follows 12 members of a jury as they try to make a decision about the future of a teenager accused of murdering his father. The cast of the movie is brilliant, including Henry Fonda, Martin Balsam, John Fiedler, and Jack Warden as the leads.

Fonda plays the role of the one skeptical juror who tries to convince his colleagues that the boy is, if not innocent, at least worthy of suspicion. After closing arguments in a murder trial, they all gather in one room, which is really the only location where the events take place, to make a decision.

What started out as a 100% guilty verdict turns into a personal drama for each of the jurors. After Fonda's character makes them see a lot of little details in the case that clearly make him believe the boy might not be guilty, the rest of the jurors find out a lot of buried personal issues that actually make them make each of their decisions in the courtroom.

Fans of the film admit that each of the 12 jurors gave brilliant performances and that it's definitely worth watching not once, but many times. Especially for those who are in any way connected to the legal system. Until this day, the viewers find the movie absolutely up to date.

“I really enjoyed the characters and the story. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did, it was so simple yet complex at the same time. It really made me think about the criminal justice system and how people’s lives literally rest on fallible people’s shoulders,” Redditor whodatkrewe said.

The three-time Oscar-nominated film is coming to Prime this Wednesday, so mark your calendars!
