As Bridgerton season 3 gets closer with each passing week, the audience is looking for more and more clues about what to expect from it. Though it's hard to predict just about anything, aside from the main characters, without any promo, the fans are happy about every little detail they can find.
For example, one change that fans of the original book series by Julia Quinn were excited about was the recasting of Franchesca Bridgerton, the third daughter of the family. Although the fandom didn't really mind the work of former actress Ruby Stokes, the character's potential was never realized due to scheduling issues.
The recast was the best solution to bring Francesca back into the story, and fans are certainly happy to welcome Hannah Dodd to the Brdgerton family.
While many people doubt we'll actually get to see her season come to life due to the long pauses Netflix takes to release seasons and all the complications caused by the WGA and SAG AFTRA strikes, it's still exciting to see her character develop a bit.
Regardless of whether or not Shonda Rhimes gets to make the sixth book into a season, some events in Francesca's life need to be mentioned in the background, and season 3 might be a good place to start doing that more often.
Without giving too much away, some Bridgerton fans speculate that Francesca may even get married this season, as marriage has always been just the beginning of her true romance.
The only problem that Hannah Dodd and the crew behind the show might face is that after Francesca's absence in season 2, she might not be as interesting to the viewers.
On the one hand, it's always hard to redeem a character in the eyes of the general public when you've already reached season 3 of the show. On the other hand, it's a perfect opportunity to reintroduce her.
