When it comes to animation, even Disney is no match for the geniuses at Pixar, as the films this iconic studio has produced over the years are some of the best animated projects in history, right up there with Disney's older cartoons like "The Little Mermaid," "Beauty and the Beast," and "Aladdin."

With billions of dollars in box office and universal acclaim, Pixar films have always been welcome guests at the Oscars, regularly earning nominations for Best Animated Feature and even Best Picture.

Here are Pixar's 10 most memorable Oscar wins:

It's incredibly satisfying to watch Pixar's rise to fame through the studio's appearances at the Oscars, from humble animated shorts to the sprawling blockbuster epics that became synonymous with Pixar's output in the early 2000s.

As of now, Pixar has the most Oscar wins with 11 golden statues in the Best Animated Feature category, but that's hardly relevant anymore, as Pixar became a subsidiary of Walt Disney Studios all the way back in 2006.

The Oscars 2024 will be held Sunday, March 10, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The event is to start at 7 p.m. EST.
