Dune: Part Two already looks like something that is going to beat up its predecessor and here are the reasons why.

The first Dune film ended at the halfway of Frank Herbert's original novel, and, as we already know, the second part of the movie will finally complete the story of the first book and give Paul's journey a Maud'Dib full circle.

The second Dune has the ability to tell a more extensive story because it will cover more ground, including the Harkonnen planet Giedi Prime.

The sequel will increase more than just the territory, though. In terms of the cast, Dune: Part Two is going to have significant changes.

The already impressive cast will be joined by Christopher Walken as Emperor Shaddam IV, Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha, the heir of the evil Baron Harkonnen.

All these names make the scope of the movie even more grand than the first part.

Speaking of the cast, Rebecca Ferguson, who plays Lady Jessica, the mother of protagonist Paul Atreides, also confirmed that the second part points to it being better than the first Dune movie and we consider it as a good sign.

The good sign is also the fact that Dune: Part Two will take us further into the romance between Chani, played by Zendaya, and Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet.

According to director Denis Villeneuve, their relationship will become the epicenter of the movie and we are definitely here for that.

Dune: Part Two also has all the chances to beat up the first part's numbers in the box office.

Although the first movie made over $100 million in the US box office and $300 million outside the US, it felt like it could do better.

The sequel already feels like crossing the line that the first part drew and becoming more successful, especially when it doesn't have to bother about the pandemic, which made things worse for the first Dune.

Moreover, the potential success gives us hope that the Dune Messiah film can happen.

We now have no choice but to wait for the sequel to come out on November 3 and let it blow our minds even more as the first part did.
