Young Sheldon Is Just Supernatural's French Mistake All Over Again

These two shows seem to have nothing in common, and yet, they do. At least, one fan certainly thinks so.

One series is a horror fantasy drama with ghosts, demons, angels, and other monsters, while the other's only monster is its title character (although he hasn't killed anyone yet, people come dangerously close to finishing him off every other episode).

Despite the fact that Supernatural and Young Sheldon are set in different universes, there is one thing that connects them. Sort of.

One Reddit fan has shown us something that we can't unsee now. They believe that Lance Barber, who plays George Cooper on Young Sheldon, looks a lot like Jensen Ackles ( Dean Winchester from Supernatural), who just put on a few pounds after eating all those pies he loves. Now you can't unsee this either, right?

This has prompted us to think long and hard about Jensen Ackles' possible involvement in Young Sheldon. Just imagine him as Sheldon's dad (but tougher and not having any of his attitude).

This would be entertainment on another level! Or maybe he could at least make a cameo as George's hunter brother (it's Texas, so it could happen). He would totally be Missy's favorite uncle!

It could also go the other way. What if the entirety of Young Sheldon is just another one of Balthazar's tricks to send Dean to an alternate universe to save him from a demon or something?

After all, The French Mistake is one of the best episodes in Supernatural, and we wouldn't mind happening something like that again.

This time, Sam is left behind in their universe, and alternate Dean got married and got comfy (hence, those extra pounds), and even had a family with kids and everything. Just like he always wanted!

All jokes aside, the resemblance is pretty uncanny from some angles and with some facial expressions. This fan is on to something, and they have quite a keen eye for detail. Bravo!
