Seven Kings Must Die is the feature-length sequel and final chapter of the British historical drama The Last Kingdom, based on the series of novels The Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell. Set in the 9th and 10th centuries, when almost all of Britain was ruled by the Dunes, the main character is a Saxon warrior raised among the Vikings. Seven Kings Must Die continues the story of Uhtred and his involvement in the power struggle between the heirs of King Edward, while England is threatened by the Vikings who have settled in Ireland.
