The actor, known for his portrayal of The Falcon in Marvel Cinematic Universe, talks enthusiastically about his visit on 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' set. Don't get your hopes up, Mackie fans, he's still not in the movie.

Production of the upcoming movie is shrouded in mystery – after the saddening loss of Chadwick Boseman, Marvel chose not to recast T'Challa, which led to a dramatic shift in film's development cycle. Current plot details are still being kept under wraps, so any news from the set is eagerly awaited by fans.

Although Mackie didn't disclose any spoilers for next installment in Wakanda saga, he did hype the film quite a bit.

"I'm very excited to say they just wrapped filming 'Black Panther 2'. It's going to be amazing, it's going to be spectacular. I'm not [in it] but I've been [to the set], I've witnessed it. I'm very excited for everyone to see Black Panther 2, they just wrapped it", Mackie said during the Grammys on Sunday.

Of course, Mackie explicitly said that he's not in the film, but after the whole Garfield thing, can we really believe him?

In any case, everyone still hoping to see Falcon ending up in Wakanda will have to wait until November 11, 2022, when 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ' finally hits theatres.
