Ask any Marvel fan which MCU ending is the best, and they'll definitely say Avengers: Infinity War or Avengers: Endgame. The latest Avengers movies have overshadowed another emotional ending that made many fans shed a tear.

Since 2007, Marvel Studios has released 30 films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starting with Iron Man. The latest release was Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which premiered earlier this month.

That means MCU viewers have seen 30 movie endings already. And that's not counting the numerous MCU series that have been released on ABC, Netflix, Hulu, Freeform and Disney+.

However, what audiences usually discuss after watching another MCU movie are the post-credit scenes. Such scenes tend to distract audiences from the actual ending, which serves the important purpose of wrapping up the story told in the movie on an emotional note and sometimes even teasing what comes next for the heroes and the MCU.

How Many Hours of Your Life You'd Have to Waste to Watch All of the MCU?

Among the best MCU endings, fans often cite Avengers (especially Infinity War and End Game), Iron Man, Captain America, and others, usually forgetting about probably the most emotional and beautiful MCU ending of all time, the final scene of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

"IMO, Guardians Of the Galaxy Vol. 2 has the most emotional ending in the MCU. I just finished rewatching Guardians 2 and it had me in tears again. Cat Stevens Father and Son, the emotional weight from the characters, the imagery, the Ravagers showing up to send Yondu off. It kills me every time," one of the fans wrote on Reddit, and it's hard to disagree.

Yondu was one of MCU fans' favorite characters, and his death in Vol. 2 was devastating for many viewers.

Fans shared that when the Ravagers showed up to give Yondu the perfect send-off, it took every ounce of strength in their body to keep from ugly crying for several hours.

Set to the Cat Stevens Father & Son and the Ravagers' fireworks, the ending is surprisingly very much in line with the overall tone of the Guardians of the Galaxy. We see every character finally opening up to the viewers and each other.

Director James Gunn managed to end the movie on an unexpectedly emotional and deep note, and at the same time preserve and even develop the main characters and the dynamic in the group.
