So far we've learned that by the end of The Witcher Season 2, Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer were finally united, but the problem is that the Continent is after them. It is crucial for them to stay safe.
One of the most controversial storylines for Ciri could be that of her possible incestual union with The White Flame, whose identity was revealed in the end of Season 2. This is no other than Ciri's father Emhyr var Emreis. He believes in the prophecy, which says that Emhyr's son will become the ruler of the world. Emhyr wants to lay his hands on his daughter so she can bear his child – as the one with Elder Blood (and Ciri has Elder Blood) will rule the Continent. By the way, doesn't it sound familiar? Yes! Another controversy is linked with a new character in Season 3, a tall and long-legged girl Mistle. She is member of the Rats gang who steals from the rich for their own pleasure and enjoys killing. And this is the very gang Ciri joins becoming their partner in crime. Moreover, Ciri is in a toxic and romantic relationships with Mistle. How will the fans take such a sudden change of heart? Redditors have also posted their takes on Ciri's arc in the forthcoming season, suggesting that Netflix 's showrunners just can't follow anything from the book – "that's out the window."
