Well, Avada Kedavra, gods.

The new trailer for 'Thor: Love and Thunder ' has finally provided us with a proper look at Christian Bale 's villain of the movie, Lord Voldemort.

Wait, what?

Ah, silly us. We just mistook Gorr the God Butcher, the one and only, for the main villain of the Harry Potter saga... just like another couple hundreds people online.

Gorr boasts a monochromatic black-and-white look with narrow red eyes and bald head – a signature appearance which, however, does indeed resemble that of He Who Must Not Be Named.

There is one stark difference, though: Gorr the God Butcher is a proud owner of a nose. 1:0, Voldemort.

Although these two are practically twins when you sprinkle some Photoshop on the 'Thor' villain.

The funniest thing about it, however, is that the comic book version of Gorr actually does look like Voldemort, and the MCU take on the God Butcher in fact did its best for him not to, as some fans noted.

Fans' opinion on Christian Bale's Gorr was divided: while some people clearly enjoyed his look and attitude, others argued that the new Thor villain looked quite pathetic, despite his vows to wipe out all gods.

Whatever side you pick, there'll be more of Gorr on July 8, when 'Love and Thunder' premieres and Thor stands in the God Butcher's way.
