And several major comedy stars will make their entrance here.

Summary:

  • Elsbeth ’s first season is still having its television run right up to May 25
  • The recently released trailer for upcoming episodes is a big spoiler for the show’s guest stars.
  • The video features at least four of the series’ actors with recurring roles — and two of those actors happen to be very famous comedians.
  • Elsbeth attracting so many familiar faces to star in it has a definitely good perspective for the current season’s finale and possibly the next season’s plot.

Elsbeth’s season 1 run is far from being over with the final episode set to be released on May 25, but a brand new clip gives a major hint at some exciting guest appearances in the upcoming episodes.

A police procedural comedy drama, Elsbeth follows an eccentric attorney whose shrewd observations come in handy when she needs to deal with New York’s criminal world — and it looks like she will get some help from Hollywood’s famous comedians.

The one-minute-long brand new trailer opens with the scene where Elsbeth introduces herself to a couple with the woman describing Elsbeth as “that odd woman that works with the police'', also calling her funny.

The main character then proceeds to interact with Keegan-Michael Key explaining to him that she used to be a lawyer back in the day, but then found her vocation in solving murder cases — both characters later appear to be dancing together in one of the following scenes.

Apart from that, the video also features stars like Elizabeth Lail, Laura Benanti, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

The appearance of a bunch of prominent guest stars is a good sign for the show that has just been renewed for a second season — meaning that the characters portrayed by the recurring actors may have their own impact on Elsbeth’s season 1 finale or even season 2 plot.

The recently released trailer gives an especially big hope for Key’s major role in Elsbeth’s crime-solving routine.

One more exciting entrance is Jesse Tyler Ferguson who’s famous for his leading role in Modern Family – those who have seen the already released episodes may recognize him in the role of a reality TV mastermind.

Elizabeth Lail may be recognised thanks to her role in the first season of a creepy psychological thriller series You on Netflix while Laura Benanti has recently starred in Jennifer Lawrence ’s comedy No Hard Feelings.
