The Dragon Queen explained why she keeps ignoring the existence of HotD and won't ever watch it — and gave the promise to dive right into SNOW… Kinda.

Emilia Clarke 's Daenerys Targaryen still remains one of the most beloved characters of Game of Thrones even after the show's finale — and she's definitely the most iconic of them all.

The role of the Mother of Dragons launched Clarke's career way high up, and the actress has had most of the doors open for her ever since.

Following the overwhelming success of Game of Thrones, HBO's been tirelessly working on prequels and spin-offs to the hit series.

Though many have been discussed already, there's only one out just yet — and then, another one's so popular among the fans that the company doesn't have a choice but to do it.

House of the Dragon has not become quite as phenomenally popular as GoT but it's still massive and has millions of fans.

The original series' actors haven't yet watched for the most part as they've grown tired of living in that fantasy setting; the majority of them intend to give HotD a go, though — but not Emilia Clarke.

The actress recently explained why she hadn't watched House of the Dragon and wasn't going to at all, and her reasons have everything to do with the Targaryens.

"It's like if someone said to you, 'Do you want to go back to your high school and watch them do stuff you did when you were at school?' It would just be so weird. [But] it is wonderful, I love seeing my wig on everyone's head — it's beautiful," Emilia explained with a laugh.

But the other spin-off that's still being considered by HBO (and has overwhelming support from the fans) is kind of a must-watch for the actress.

Emilia Clarke promised her friend and former co-star, Kit Harrington, that if his standalone series SNOW comes out, she will watch it… Or die trying to make herself watch it.

"Kit, I love you! I'm going to watch that one because of you, or I am gonna tell you I did," promised the actress.

She also brushed off the very ridiculous speculation that she'd join SNOW and play Daenerys Targaryen again.

While Clarke was all too polite to call it nonsense straight away, that's exactly what it is: after all, the Mother of Dragons died at the end of Game of Thrones, so she'd have a hard time joining Jon Snow in his adventures.
