Is Tom Hardy the perfect fit for Wolverine or what?

Hugh Jackman has been the best and only Wolverine for us for the last two decades. He will reprise his iconic role in Deadpool 3. It's going to be epic, but sadly it's also probably the last time we see Jackman as Logan.

Sooner or later, the MCU will need its own Wolverine, and it is going to be a tough gig for any actor who steps into this adamantium skeleton.

Fans suggest many actors for the role, but one of the most popular candidates is Tom Hardy. A Reddit user shared a fan art imagining Hardy as Logan, but here's the thing, not everyone seems to be on board with that idea.

Tom Hardy is undeniably a talented actor with a diverse range of performances under his belt. He is already portraying a Marvel character in Sony's universe — Eddie Brock aka Venom.

It wouldn't be an issue for Hardy to portray both Venom and Wolverine, but fans have some other concerns.

While many fans appreciate Tom Hardy's acting skills, there are those who firmly believe he is not the right choice for Wolverine in the MCU. One primary concern raised is his age.

Tom Hardy is 45 years old right now. And let's be real, starting his Wolverine journey at this point might be too late. Hugh Jackman rocked that role when he was in his early thirties.

Some fans also argue that Hardy lacks the ideal height traditionally associated with Wolverine. Wolverine is depicted as a shorter, stockier character in the comics.

However, Hugh Jackman is actually taller than Hardy, and it didn't stop him from portraying the hero in a way that made us believe he was born for this role.

Plus, let's not forget, they can work their movie magic to make Hardy appear shorter if they really want to.

The absolute perfect actor for the Wolverine role remains Danny DeVito. And fans are really requiring him for the role. Imagine if the joke actually goes too far, and they legit cast him as Wolverine.

That would be a twist nobody saw coming.
