After the news of the recasting of Vanessa Fisk, no one is safe anymore.

Charlie Cox 's comeback to his role as Daredevil was announced back in 2022 at San Diego Comic-Con. He'll star in a new Disney Plus show, Daredevil: Born Again, after portraying Daredevil in the Netflix show of the same name.

As the date gets closer and production gets underway, fans can't help but wonder what the rest of the cast will look like.

Many fans were hoping to see Deborah Ann Woll reprise her role as Karen Page and Elden Henson reprise his role as Foggy after news broke that Jon Bernthal had been confirmed to reprise his role as The Punisher.

That would bring the base of the original cast of the Netflix show together, but it looks like it was not meant to be.

There's still a slight possibility that Marvel prefers to keep this news under wraps for some time, which is why they haven't made any statements, but the chances are that both could be recast.

That's right, the very recent news of another major character, Vanessa Fisk, being recast opened up the possibility of more recasts happening.

Although some fans are open to new faces if it means a fresh start for Daredevil's story, others are not so sure. Fans have grown quite fond of Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, and Elodie Yung as Elektra.

A new cast could not only change the perception of the story, but also the great screen chemistry that existed in the last Daredevil series.

"Honestly I wouldn't expect any of them except Elektra and Bullseye to show up on the new show. It's a Daredevil show, not a Defenders revival," Redditor DanScorp said, arguing that the discussion about other characters' recasts seems pointless anyways since we don't know much about which characters are even involved in the script.

Daredevil: Born Again is promised to debut in early 2024 and will consist of 18 episodes. Stay on the lookout for more casting news and storyline surprises.
