You thought the Infinity Saga was epic? Wait until you find out just how many Marvel superheroes are actually involved in 'Secret Wars'.

Warning: the following article contains major spoilers for 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'.

In the new 'Doctor Strange' sequel we certainly heard the word "incursion" more than once or twice, with those uttering it referring to the event when two universes collide. This leads to the collapse of at least one of them.

But this word also means that Marvel could be on track to pave a way for a 'Secret Wars' movie – a massive crossover that might potentially top the Infinity Saga, should the studio go for it.

In the comics, 'Secret Wars' assemble not only the Avengers but also the Fantastic Four and X-Men, along with a couple of other superheroes. Even though Marvel has not announced its plans to adapt the story for the big screen, many fans believe that there are just too many hints in 'Multiverse of Madness' to think of it as just a coincidence.

In the 'Multiverse of Madness' post-credit scene, Strange meets a mysterious woman played by Charlize Theron, who says that he caused an incursion and he needs to come and help her now. With his third eye open, Stephen agrees and leaves with the woman (we'll get to know that her name is Clea) through a portal.

Now that might just serve as a beginning of the build-up for 'Secret Wars'.

Although many people see the MCU developing in different ways, pretty much everyone agrees that 'Secret Wars' might be on its way.

However, some fans think it's too soon to brace for the 'Secret Wars' movie.

We can hardly expect an announcement regarding 'Secret Wars' from Marvel anytime soon. But surely we can look for more hints in the upcoming movies and TV series, and who knows, maybe our screens could fit even more superheroes than they did back at the time of the Infinity Saga.
