Who is the stalker?

The identity of Joe Goldberg's stalker in the upcoming fourth season of Netflix 's You may be a lot crazier than you'd like to believe. While the fandom is scratching their heads as the tables turn for Joe, a Reddit theory suggests that brainstorming may not be necessary.

According to Redditor wakeupsiddddddddd, Joe may be his own stalker. After all, we got three full seasons of him excelling at the job while never being a reliable enough narrator.

So who's to say Joe isn't suffering from some kind of mental disorder and hasn't started stalking himself, fans wonder? Many people think this would be an exciting twist, especially since Joe saw himself in season 3.

However, there is a problem as some fans doubt that Netflix could pull it off in a believable and convincing way. Besides, if it was about Joe having some kind of split personality, then we should have gotten more hints about it in previous seasons, fans argue.

The fact that Joe is now the one being stalked was revealed in the new trailer for You season 4.

In the new chapter, Joe will find himself in London, posing as Professor Jonathan Moore and trying to prove to his latest love, Marienne, that he is not the murderer she believes him to be. But can we really believe anything in this show at this point?

The first part of You season 4 will be available on Netflix on February 9th.
