Fans Think They Spotted Dean in The Winchesters Finale Promo

This series has seen overwhelming success among the original show's fans, and there are quite a few good reasons for it — including, of course, occasional appearances of the beloved characters.

Dean Winchester, the legendary monster hunter and the son of the show's main characters, has influenced the story of his parents rather dramatically. It was never specifically stated, but most fans are convinced that he traveled back in time to change some of the past events. Apart from appearing in some photos, he's widely speculated to have been the person behind the letter that got John Winchester into monster hunting in the first place. But now, things have taken an even sharper turn: fans claim that Dean will return in the next episode of The Winchesters!

As the season's finale rapidly approaches, being launched next week, a new promo was released today. And in that video, fans swear, they saw Dean Winchester himself — so they've no doubt he will finally step out of the shadows!

It's not that he was shown in full glory, of course. In one of the promo scenes, someone hands a letter over to John Winchester. Neither the face nor any other distinct features can be seen on the screen, but it matters little: the show's fans are certain they can recognize their favorite monster hunter just by his hand.

As a Twitter user with a self-explanatory name @alwaysdeanw wrote:

"he is definitely dean. john in his uniform. someone who is giving him a piece of paper that looks like a letter. a black jacket like the one dean is wearing in the pilot. this guy is OUR best boy."

Even though the hand with the letter only appears for a split second, most of the community agrees that it couldn't be anyone other than Dean. The unconvinced voices of the few can't overrun the majority, but there's no need for that: we'll all learn the truth as the final episode arrives next week!
