With the finale premiere just hours away, the Internet is buzzing with predictions and theories.

'Obi-Wan Kenobi ' seems to have brought a lot of fan expectations to reality, particularly when it comes to the dramatic story that Kenobi and Darth Vader share. However, fans do want more, especially now that the show is about to wrap.

Among the characters people crave to see in the Wednesday finale are Qui-Gon Jinn and Padme, albeit both are dead at the time of the events of 'Obi-Wan Kenobi'. Still, hopes are high for some flashbacks, particularly due to Hayden Christensen actually appearing as Anakin Skywalker (not yet Darth Vader-ed) in episode 5. The two shared a training fight, in which Kenobi criticized Anakin for his aggressive actions and tried to persuade him that sometimes mercy is the answer.

When it comes to the potential appearances of other familiar characters, fans are pretty confident that a cameo by Qui-Gon is pretty much possible, given that he can theoretically appear anywhere at any time as a Force Ghost, so it doesn't even need to be a flashback.

"They name dropped Qui Gon already, to not include him in some way would be a personal bummer." – @Mrtweet97348142.

Qui-Gon's name has been mentioned several times over the course of the show, and fans are adamant that this has to have a reason.

"That's exactly what I was thinking. Why show the flashback in the beginning of Yoda telling Obi-Wan he could teach him to talk to him, and why mention his name 5 times for no reason?" – @iamoncraigslist.

With Padme, things are a bit more complicated, but fans argue that her role is very important in the Darth Vader story, so a Padme-featuring flashback would make sense.

"Both makes sense, Padme for Vader, but Qui Gon for Obi Wan, maybe as a force ghost? Hell, if you remember, at the end of Revenge of The Sith, Yoda says something about talking to Qui Gon, so, maybe he talks to him in the finale? Idk, this is just me speculating lol," – @BULLETSCARER22.

So, while Padme's appearance is more of a fan fantasy, the Qui-Gon cameo is being discussed online as something that is sure to happen. Some people have already suggested that Qui-Gon will be the one to save Kenobi in the finale.

Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan's mentor, died in 'The Phantom Menace'. In his final moments, he made Kenobi promise that he will train young Anakin Skywalker – the one who will fall in love with Queen Padme Amidala but end up taking away her "will to live" by switching to the Dark Side.
