High ratings, great actors, and all too little recognition: give these K-dramas a shot and you’ll discover an entire world you haven’t even touched on Viki!

10. Bloodhounds (2023–Now)

The youthful naivete is often admirable, but can lead to dire consequences if left unchecked. Two young boxers band together with an aspiring moneylender in the noble quest of taking down an old loan shark who preys on those in need. But the rich and powerful don’t go down easily, and the youthful vigor only takes you so far.

9. Bad and Crazy (2021–2022)

Ambition and ruthless efficiency don’t often match with a likable personality. An aspiring police detective is willing to overstep any boundaries to “get things done” and receive a promotion, but the game changes when another personality manifests into his head: an avid justice-seeker who’s not keen on his “neighbor’s” methods.

8. Destined With You (2023)

Some matches are made in heaven; others, in hell. It’s not quite clear where this one was made: a young successful lawyer and a humble civil servant wouldn’t have noticed each other if the latter wasn’t key for getting rid of the former’s familial curse. Except, she doesn’t have a clue about the secrets the book she obtained holds…

7. Winter Sonata (2002)

Fate doesn’t mind playing even the cruelest jokes on its unsuspecting jokes, and sometimes, they come into fruition only years later. Two children who fell deeply in love lose their bond after one of them has a severe case of amnesia and moves away, but years later, when they meet as adults, the memories start coming back.

6. Record of Youth (2020)

It’s easy to make a name for yourself in the fashion world when your last name speaks for itself; but if you’re a nobody, the industry will not want you. For three young people, two actors and a make-up artist, there is no simple way thanks to their backgrounds, but they don’t despair: they plan to take over the industry all the same.

5. Yong-pal (2015)

Dire choices lead to dire consequences, but sometimes, you don’t have many options. Desperate to pay his sister’s medical bills, a talented surgeon offers his services to the rich and corrupt who can’t tend to them publicly. One day, he saves a beautiful woman from a coma, and the situation spirals out of control in no time.

4. A Gentleman's Dignity (2012)

Life doesn’t become clear and simple as you grow up, and there are no “real adults.” Four childhood friends are already in their forties but they still have troubles with love and life; thankfully, they have each other for support as they make mistakes over and over… Until a teenager pops up claiming that one of the four is his biological father.

3. Marriage, Not Dating (2014)

We all have our goals, and sometimes, they just don’t match. But does that mean we should give them up? A young woman’s eager to get married as that is her biggest dream. A young man indulges in his wealthy bachelor life but his family insists he marries. To placate them, he decides to go for a fake proposal — and loses control.

2. Secret Love (2013)

Love can be just as crooked as it is beautiful, especially when you fall for someone you really shouldn’t have fallen for. Years ago, a young woman went to prison for her boyfriend’s hit-and-run murder. As she’s released, she meets the killed woman’s partner and the spark flies — but the murderer is still out there, and he’s powerful.

1. Reply 1994 (2013)

In 1994, South Korea was very different, with its newfound love for basketball and idols only just emerging. Six young students from different provinces lived under the same roof, sharing their grief and love with each other, but only one of the boys became the most beautiful girl’s husband years later. It’s up to you to try and guess who, as the TV show keeps switching between past and present but keeps its secret.
