You might even watch them while at work.

The Office is one of the best workplace shows ever created. The mockumentary about a small paper company has a huge following and is a real comfort show for many fans.

But there are other shows that are much like The Office, maybe even better. Although they are completely different, they have the same vibe of people dealing with their work lives and the coworkers they love to hate. These five shows are definitely worth checking out.

1. Parks and Recreation

The sitcom premiered in 2009 and was wrapped up in 2015 after finishing its season 7. The show features a little bit of an odd group of people working in the local government as they do their best to make the city they live in a better place.

2. Brooklyn Nine-Nine

The iconic show starring Andy Samberg debuted in 2013 and ran for 8 seasons. It tells the story of a group of New York detectives. But they are not your typical boring law enforcement guys, and not even the brutal macho ones. These are goofy cops who still manage to take down bad guys, but in a comedic way.

3. Scrubs

One of the best medical shows that not only concentrates on the real stuff, but also brings in some life and humor. The series premiered in 2001 and since then has become a definition of comedy for many viewers. With a cast of characters you can't help but root for, this show is a recipe for feel-good entertainment.

4. Abbott Elementary

A comparatively new show, Abbott Elementary has already managed to prove that it's a must-watch. The series gives us a glimpse into the lives of public education workers as they try to make a difference in this indifferent world. It's great to see how dedicated these teachers are to their job, making you really believe that there is a better future for our children (even if it's in a show).

5. The IT Crowd

Probably the only show we know of that focuses on the IT world. The 2006 British sitcom follows a group of oddball IT support staff who work together to keep a large London company running. Fueled by a mix of geeky humor and full-on comedy, it's a workplace comedy that doesn't disappoint.
