We love our superheroes growing up and teaming up with their idols.

Warning: the following article contains spoilers for 'Ms. Marvel' episode 6

The first season of 'Ms. Marvel' has ended with a bang, seemingly introducing Kamala Khan as the MCU's first mutant and pledging her return in 'The Marvels'. What remains unknown is whether there will be a season 2. However, actress Iman Vellani (Kamala Khan) already has some ideas.

If her character will return after teaming up with Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau and land a second season of her show, then it might be similar to what Tom Holland's Peter Parker had to go through after taking part in the conflict between Captain America and Iron Man.

"It would be fun to see Kamala post-'The Marvels' after she's fought with her idol. It's similar to what Spider-Man went through after fighting with the Avengers in 'Civil War' and going back to the friendly neighborhood thing," Vellani told Stylecaster.

For Holland's Spider-Man, the journey has become even tougher with every new adventure after the Civil War: at first, he had to process the death of his mentor and father figure Tony Stark, only to end up triggering a multiverse turmoil in 'No Way Home'.

Given that the MCU seems to escalate things in Phase Four, it's likely that Kamala's superhero journey might be just as tough. But the first season of 'Ms. Marvel' has already shown us that she is no quitter.

'The Marvels' will premiere in theaters on July 28, 2023.
