Amy Adams' musical about a Disney princess in New York will finally get a sequel after 15 years of anticipation. And James Marsden, who played Prince Edward, has some exciting news to share.

While talking to Screen Rant during his latest film 'Sonic the Hedgehog 2' premiere, Marsden revealed that his co-star Idina Menzel would finally sing in the upcoming 'Disenchanted' film. It's important to note that the 'Frozen' star was one of the only cast members without singing parts in the original film. Looks like Menzel's fan favorite 'Frozen' performance made Disney producers anxious to fix their old mistakes.

"15 years later, we did the Enchanted sequel with Amy Adams and Patrick [Dempsey] and Idina Menzel, and Idina actually gets to sing this time. The first time, she was in a movie musical and did not sing. I don't understand that. But this time, Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz wrote all-new original music for the sequel. I think people are going to be very pleased when that comes out", Marden said.

Yes, you are not mistaken – legendary composers Menken and Schwartz, responsible for enchanting melodies from 'The Little Mermaid', 'Aladdin', 'Tangled' and many more Disney hits, are back with brand new musical numbers specifically created for Adams and co.

The film is currently undergoing extensive reshoots, due to its poor performance at the test screenings.
