It's almost longer than Hulk's… well, you get the point.

When the world's premiere happens way ahead of the actual theatrical release, plot leaks are inevitable. That's how some of the most important film details already surfaced – celebrity cameos among them.

There's no arguing that 'Thor: Love and Thunder ' cast is pretty impressive in terms of sheer star power: alongside Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Taika Waititi, Chris Pratt and the whole 'Guardians of the Galaxy' team there are also Christian Bale and Russell Crowe being welcomed into the fold. Still, the more the merrier, it seems, and 'Thor: Love and Thunder' is more than ready to surprise us with some unexpected – and thus even more amazing – celebrity cameos. We have some familiar faces returning, and then we have a couple of major new characters, played by quite popular actors.

Please bear in mind that the following spoilers about the plot can be inaccurate; they are, after all, based on plot leaks by the industry insiders and those lucky few who've managed to watch the movie already – and can easily end up being fake news.

Let's have a look at the list of 'Thor's celebrity cameos:

Brett Goldstein ('Ted Lasso ') – Hercules. This one is somewhat anticipated by at least some Marvel fans, given the recent rumors about the studio cobbling together Dark Avengers team. Hercules is introduced quite traditionally – in one of the two post-credits scenes.

Idris Elba – Heimdall. Once again Elba returns to the MCU, this time – in another post-credit scene, where his character welcomes Jane Foster to Valhalla. Given that Jane was diagnosed with cancer in the comics (and in the movie as well) and Valhalla is essentially Asgardian concept of afterlife, well… you do the math.

Jamie Alexander – Sif. Yet another familiar face, essential to Asgard, Lady Sif is one of the few who survived this long since being introduced in the very first 'Thor' film and later making an appearance in 'Agents of SHIELD'. Will she survive the events of 'Thor: Love and Thunder' though?

Sam Neill, Matt Damon, Luke Hemsworth and Melissa McCarthy are playing Odin, Loki, Thor and Hela respectively in another of mock in-movie theatrical productions, this time re-enacting the events of Thor: Ragnarok. Funnily enough, back in December 2020 it was actually the actress herself, along with her husband Ben Falcone, who did a video on Instagram asking Marvel to be a part of 'Thor 4'. So apparently dreams do come true once in a while.

Loki doesn't appear in 'Thor: Love and Thunder', apparently, and the same goes for Stellan Skarsgard, who was rumored to return as Eric Selvig at some point.

'Thor: Love and Thunder' begins screening in theaters July 7.
