The MCU has so many powerful female characters, it's a shame only a few got to be included.

M Power is a new Disney Plus original series, featuring 4 episodes and giving all women behind the MCU production their time to shine. Its release was tied to International Women's Day, and now it is available to stream.

As important as it is to show and acknowledge all the women working hard to portray fan-favorite heroines and create wonderful worlds around them, fans still felt like not everyone was being included.

The first thing that led some viewers to raise their eyebrows was the absence of Scarlett Johansson, or, at the very least, any signs of acknowledgment of Black Widow's character.

Being the first one to make the debut in the franchise with her appearance in Iron Man 2 in 2010, fans feel like her involvement in M Power would be extremely important. Some other characters that people would want to see include Peggy Carter and Jessica Jones.

One of the reasons, of course, having great storylines and being beautifully portrayed by Hayley Atwell and Krysten Ritter, and the other, having the first two female solo projects.

If Johansson's case could probably be explained with her and Disney Plus not being on the best terms after the lawsuit, these two could easily be approached.

"Not that surprising that they'd focus on the current characters," Redditor movieTed came to Disney's defense.

It would make sense for the company to promote ongoing or even upcoming projects rather than focusing on the past, but fans seem to disagree and would rather celebrate those who paved the path for the success.

Among many other names that M Power failed to include were Gwyneth Paltrow, Florence Pugh, and Chloe Bennet.

With so many talented actresses and so many characters whose stories deserve to be talked about, it looks like M Power could easily go for the second season and make things right by diving back into some original shows and movies.
