MCU Fans Don't Feel Very Welcoming Toward 'Ms. Marvel'
'Ms. Marvel' prompted debates a long time ago, back when the show was announced by Marvel executives to be a part of Phase Four's TV lineup – as it often happens with new female characters.
As new teasers arrive, providing more and more glimpses into the world of Ms. Marvel, fans flock to Twitter threads to discuss whether they like the upcoming show or not.
Turns out a lot of people are not quite ready to welcome a new character under the MCU umbrella.
Some people took issue with the timing of a recent TV spot, especially in light of the upcoming 'Thor' sequel not getting one yet.
Some people praised the star of the show – Iman Vellani – but had their doubts regarding how Ms. Marvel's powers are depicted.
Not everyone is ready to hate on 'Ms. Marvel' without actually seeing the show.
The new Marvel TV show arrives at Disney+ on June 8. It will have to live up to the expectations that have already been raised high by 'Moon Knight ', which is set to wrap up on May 4, but if the newest Marvel teenage superhero is indeed "cosmic", then that shouldn't be an issue for her.
