The actress also noted that she would like to try her hand at writing.

Stranger Things, an American science fiction horror drama television series created by the Duffer Brothers, will be entering its final season relatively soon.

After debuting in 2016, the show has received great reviews from both audiences and critics throughout its four-season run.

And with the fifth and final chapter of the story on the horizon, there have been rumors of potential spin-offs set in the show's universe.

Set in the 1980s, the plot revolves around the residents of the small town of Hawkins, Indiana, and their encounters with a hostile alternate dimension called the Upside Down.

With the main storyline coming to a close, there are still plenty of opportunities to expand the world of the show and continue some unfinished storylines.

Millie Bobby Brown, the actress who portrays Eleven, one of the show's main characters, is open to the idea of expanding the Stranger Things universe.

In an interview with Total Film, the actress, who was busy working on an Enola Holmes movie sequel at the time, said:

"I'm just so focused on Enola. [...] Stranger Things – we saw it, we love it, we have big hearts. But let's make more Enolas. Let's put that on Netflix. But other than that, I'd love to see another bald-headed 10-year-old get given that opportunity. I would help her navigate it."

When asked if she would like to write an episode, Millie replied:

"I'd love to be the writer! I'd make it more of a musical. [...] But, you know, they don't entrust it in the hands of me, which they should [laughs].

Trust me: I can do the finale to Stranger Things, and it would be great. I think it should be like It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Did you ever see the musical episode? It needs to end like that – a musical episode."

According to fans, the most obvious candidate for a spin-off about another superpowered character is Kali.

She was introduced in the show's second season as another Hawkins Laboratory test subject with the power to create illusions.

After Kali helps Eleven learn how to better control her powers, the two part ways, and Kali is never seen again in subsequent seasons.

The fifth and final season of the series has been announced by Netflix for February 2022. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in May 2023.
