New Deadpool 3 Scoops Suggest That Hugh Jackman Isn't The Only X-Man To Return
Apparently, The Multiverse of Madness was the title for a wrong movie.
Deadpool 3 is a highly awaited threequel that will now be part of the MCU. You all know that Hugh Jackman will reprise his iconic role as Wolverine, but it seems like he is not the only one to come back.
According to the insider CanWeGetSomeToast, three more original actors will reprise their X-Men roles.
In their Twitter, the insider posted a scoop suggesting that Halle Berry, Famke Janssen and James Marsden will also reprise their roles as Storm, Jean Gray, and Cyclops respectively.
We’ve last seen these actors in the roles of X-Men almost a decade ago, in 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past.
That’s a bit confusing. If it turns out to be true, how are they going to work the original heroes into the story? Will they just make a quick appearance or have a big part in the plot? So many questions are popping up from this one piece of news.
What’s almost certain is that the movie will somehow incorporate the multiversal travel technology, introduced in the sequel.
But that’s not it, in another tweet by the same insider, it is stated that two more actors will come back with villainous roles in Deadpool 3 — one from the Fox X-Men universe and another one from the MCU. However, they didn’t specify who those characters are exactly, leaving fans to speculate.
And the tweet indeed stirred some speculations. Fans think it can be literally anyone. It might be Josh Brolin portraying both Thanos and Cable. Or it can be Oscar Isaac who is now Moon Knight in the MCU, but previously played Apocalypse X-Men: Apocalypse.
The possibilities are endless, but one thing is clear — Marvel is planning to replicate the success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, by including more and more characters from the movies that were released before MCU even existed.
We don't know much about Deadpool 3 plot, except that it's going to be a road trip movie. So given that, it’s even more surprising how the three original X-Men and additionally two more villains are going to squeeze into the mix.
