New Spider-Man is ready to make a debut in the MCU.

Miles Morales is making waves once again. We just wrote an article about fans suggesting that Miles Morales would be an awesome addition to Sony's universe, but guess what? Marvel seems to be one step ahead.

A Twitter user shared an interesting detail from Spider-Man: No Way Home. As it turns out, Miles was there.

Remember the ending of NWH? After Dr. Strange’s spell, no one has a clue about Peter Parker's existence, so he ditches his old place and moves into a new apartment.

The sneaky little detail is hidden in the scene when Peter enters his new apartment. In the original movie, we can hear some indistinct voices of Peter’s new neighbors.

However, as it was revealed by the Twitter user, in the Portuguese dub for Brazil you can clearly hear what they are saying, and it seems like those are the voices of Miles’ parents.

The woman clearly says “Miles” as she is trying to make her son (supposedly) go to bed. We then hear a man's voice saying: “if you don't go to bed right now, you won't watch TV for a month.”

That’s some interesting detail right there. It means that Peter’s new neighbor is none other than Miles Morales.

We’ve already seen a member of Morales’ family on the big screen. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Donald Glover portrayed Miles’ uncle, Aaron Davis. There is actually more to it as there was a deleted scene where he directly mentions his nephew.

So we can almost certainly say that Miles Morales already exists in the MCU. He is not Spider-Man yet though.

Tom Holland ’s Spider-Man will surely have 2-3 more movies, but with Miles Morales growing up living right next door to Peter, it will be even easier for him to become Parker’s successor when the original Spidey retires or… dies.

It’s still too soon to know for sure, but the MCU is dropping these sneaky hints for what's to come, and it's mind-blowing. Maybe Miles Morales will make a debut in the next movie as a cool little cameo, but it’s definitely too early for him to take over.
