After James Gunn announced that not every member of the original team will be involved in the upcoming 'Holiday Special', fans can't wait to find out which character won't appear in the project scheduled for December.

In a recent Twitter post, fans questioned Gunn about the upcoming 'Guardians of the Galaxy' special, showing a fan-made poster for the hotly anticipated Disney+ flick. When asked about the characters depicted on the poster, the director revealed that the action of the special will take place between 'Thor 4' and 'Guardians 3', and will not feature one of the characters shown in the poster.

So, who will it be? Star-Lord, Drax, little Groot, Mantis, Rocket, Gamora, or Nebula? Fans on Reddit are trying to decide which character's absence makes more sense, with multiple theories being discussed.

The most popular answer is Zoe Saldana's Gamora, given the death of her character in 'Avengers: Infinity War ', but some suspect Rocket's absence, as the alien raccoon may have decided to spend some time away from his motley crew of space outlaws.
