A new chapter of Scott Lang's adventures could be the last for the hero, as the 'Ant-Man 3' plot outline suggests.

The upcoming blockbuster, starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer and Bill Murray, will completely change the way people think of Kang the Conqueror, as this time-traveling villain will battle Lang in the Quantum Realm. Moreover, Bill Murray will play King Krylar, supreme ruler of the Quantum kingdom, which suffers from Kang and his second-in-command MODOK. Of course, the heroes will team up with Krylar and venture into the dangerous realm, trying to stop the villains from causing even more chaos.

It looks like it won't be easy for Lang to save Quantum Realm, as well-known insider DanielRPK (via Reddit) has shared a major leak about the plot of 'Ant-Man 3', which suggests that Paul Rudd's character will remain stranded in Quantum Realm with Kang by the end of the movie, while MODOK will escape to the real world. After Lang and the Pym family end up in the other universe, only Scott's daughter Cassie will remain unharmed, which could lead to a new team of superheroes debuting in the MCU.

"I think that's going to be the premise of the Young Avengers. The Ant-Man squad gets stuck in Quantum Realm except for Cassie. She tries to warn the Avengers about Kang but they're all missing. She realizes she has no other choice but to assemble a new team and that's how the Young Avengers are formed." – /HearTheEkko.

The entire leak comes from a recently held test screening, which certainly proves that the ending could be changed before the film's world premiere next year. And, more importantly, no post-credits scene has been shown to the public, and for sure there are some hints about Lang's future there.

"True as far as I know. But she doesn't meet him in the past she meet him in the present. Also heard the ending might change but they're still getting stuck there again but could play out differently." – /MyTimeToShineHello.

'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' is set to arrive to cinemas on February 17, 2023.
