Amazon Prime's adult superhero show is getting ready to premiere its third outing, and it looks like there will be more gore than ever before.

In the third season of the series "Guys," Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and his crew will once again try to take down the villainous Homelander (Anthony Starr) and Vought International. The recently released trailer gave a glimpse of what's to come, introducing the Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) and showing fans some incredibly brutal murders. And it looks like the makeup department has gotten into a spending predicament, as the increased level of goriness in the series demands more practical effects.

Speaking on the British radio station RadioX, Karl Urban shared an interesting fact about the amount of fake blood wasted during the filming of the third season.

"Everything was upscaled. You know, the makeup department ran out of fake blood by episode 3. Episode 3 of 8, and we were out of blood," Urban said.

Fans can definitely expect a great script, exciting acting, and gallons of fake blood in the upcoming season.

'The Boys' season 3 will arrive on Amazon Prime on June 3, 2022.
