The first ‘Dune’ movie has already secured a lot of Hollywood’s A-listers, including Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya and Jason Momoa. How about another one?

At the Oscars, ETalk asked Denis Villeneuve what he thinks about signing up Robert Pattinson for the ‘Dune ’ sequel. And he most certainly did not say no!

"It would be a dream for me to work with Robert one day. I'm a big fan of his work,” he said.

Everyone seems to be ready.

In fact, the idea of bringing Pattinson to the ‘Dune’ universe is not new. For many people he is the dream cast of Feyd-Rautha, and they even have their fan-art ready.

Guess who’s up for it as well? Robert himself.

"I love those “Apes” movies so much. There’s only been two movies — well, three now — where I wanted to do a sequel: the “Apes” movies, “Sicario” and “Dune.” I saw both of the “Apes” movies in the cinema and I just thought what he could do with mo-cap was just so unbelievable. If he could do that with a monkey’s face, then he can get a performance out of me as well,” Robert told Variety when speaking about his role in The Batman and working with Matt Reeves.

It seems like Villeneuve and Pattinson really have something to discuss. Meanwhile 'Dune. Part 2' will hit the screens on October 20, 2023, some two years after the first movie took the cinemas by storm and secured several Oscar awards.
